Honoring Wallace: A Memorial Run That Gave Back to Animals in Need

On Monday, October 5, 2026, friends, family, and community members gathered at Marilynn’s Place for the Wallace Memorial Run, a special evening dedicated to remembering Wallace while supporting a cause that helps animals in need.

As part of the event, attendees were invited to make monetary donations and contribute pet supplies in Wallace’s memory, with proceeds benefiting Paws4Life.

We are incredibly grateful to have been included in such a meaningful tribute.

A Community Coming Together for a Special Cause

The Wallace Memorial Run was more than an opportunity to gather and remember someone special. It was also a chance to turn that remembrance into something positive for animals in our community.

Through the generosity of those who attended, Paws4Life received monetary donations along with puppy pads, dog food, and a harness.

These contributions will help us continue providing essential care and supplies for rescued dogs and puppies as they prepare for transport to our trusted rescue partners.

Every donation, whether monetary or in the form of supplies, helps make a difference in the lives of the animals we serve.

How These Donations Help

At Paws4Life, we rely on the kindness of our community to support our rescue and transport efforts.

Donations of everyday essentials are especially valuable because they help us care for animals while they are staying with temporary foster families or preparing for their next journey.

The puppy pads, dog food, and harness donated during the Wallace Memorial Run will help support these daily needs, while monetary contributions can assist with veterinary care, vaccinations, transportation, and other rescue expenses.

Support like this allows us to continue helping homeless and abandoned animals throughout North Louisiana and East Texas.

Thank You for Honoring Wallace Through Giving

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Marilynn’s Place, everyone involved in organizing the Wallace Memorial Run, and every person who contributed donations in Wallace’s memory.

We are truly touched that Paws4Life was chosen to benefit from this special event.

What a meaningful way to honor Wallace's memory—by bringing people together and extending kindness to animals who need it most.

A Lasting Impact

The generosity shown on October 5 is a reminder of the difference a caring community can make.

For Paws4Life, every bag of dog food, package of puppy pads, piece of equipment, and monetary contribution helps us continue our mission of rescuing animals, supporting foster families, and transporting dogs and puppies to trusted rescue partners.

Thank you for remembering Wallace in a way that will continue to make a difference for animals in need. ❤️🐾
