Four Puppies, One Chance: Why Foster Homes Save Lives

Every rescue begins with a story, and sometimes that story starts with circumstances no animal should have to face.
These four adorable puppies—Tammie, Tina, Tricksy, and Thomas—are approximately 12 weeks old and weigh between 16 and 18 pounds. They didn't choose how they entered the world, but now they need our community's help to give them the future they deserve.
Their mother belongs to a homeless man who has not yet agreed to have her spayed, despite ongoing efforts to help. As a result, another litter of puppies was born, adding to the growing number of homeless animals in need of care. We remain hopeful that we can work together to have their mom spayed and prevent future litters.
For now, our focus is on these four sweet puppies.
Each one is friendly, curious, and ready for the love and security every puppy deserves. They have already secured a place with one of our trusted rescue partners, North Shore, but they need temporary foster homes until August 17, when they will begin the next chapter of their journey.
Fostering is one of the most important ways you can help a rescue animal. By opening your home for just a short time, you provide a safe place for a puppy to grow, learn, and prepare for adoption. Paws4Life provides support throughout the foster period—you simply provide the love and care.
These puppies have bright futures ahead of them, but they can't get there without the help of compassionate people willing to foster.
If you can open your home to Tammie, Tina, Tricksy, or Thomas until August 17, we'd love to hear from you. Even fostering one puppy for a few weeks can make a lifelong difference.
If you're unable to foster, you can still help by sharing their story. Every share increases the chances of finding the foster homes these puppies need to continue their journey to forever families.
Together, we can give these four puppies the safe beginning they deserve—and one day, we'll be celebrating their own Happy Tails. 🐾❤️
