From a Dumpster to Safety: Two Tiny Puppies Need a Foster Home

Sometimes rescue begins in the most heartbreaking circumstances.

Two tiny puppies, only about 6½ weeks old, were found dumped in a dumpster. At an age when they should have been warm, protected, and cared for, these babies were left behind with no one to help them.

Thankfully, a kind couple found them and refused to leave them there.

Because someone cared enough to stop and help, these two puppies are now safe and receiving care at Southern Grace Animal Hospital. Their story could have ended very differently, but instead, they have been given a second chance.

Now, they need our community's help with the next step.

A Foster Home Is Needed

Paws4Life is looking for a foster home in the Shreveport–Bossier area that can provide these two puppies with a safe and loving place to stay while they wait for transport.

Fostering with Paws4Life is temporary. Our foster families provide a safe place for rescued animals to stay until they are ready to leave on their scheduled transport to one of our trusted rescue partners.

Paws4Life provides the supplies and covers approved care. You provide the safe home, attention, and love.

For puppies this young, a foster home can make an incredible difference. Instead of waiting in a veterinary hospital or boarding environment, they can have a comfortable place to sleep, play, grow, and experience the security of being cared for.

These puppies have already experienced more than they should have in their first few weeks of life. They don't need a permanent home from us—they simply need someone willing to be their temporary safe place until it's time for transport.
